Purple Swirl


This piece was designed to replicate a cupcake tier. In this piece ceramic plates/bowl from the dollar was used along with candles holders also from the dollar store. Each plate was handed painted with acrylics. This piece can used as a centerpiece, to place cupcakes on, for cookies or chips and dips. Pick your choice, use your imagination. Xoxox

DIY Coffee Table

When you can’t find a coffee table you love in a store, get creative and work with what you have.

I always loved this desk I bought from an antique dealer but knew I paid way too much for it. As much as I didn’t want to let it go, I really had no use for it. UNTILLLLLL…..I woke up in the middle of the night thinking it would make a great coffee table if I just made the legs shorter! With a saw and five minutes, I was sooooo happy with the end result.
About 3 inches of the bottom 4 legs and it was the exact coffee table I was looking for!!!

Table Arrangement

Just Like Playing House

I know, I know, you can just buy this in a store rather than spend the time making it yourself. However, an arrangement this size would easily cost you $100-$150 at a higher end home décor store. My main motivation for making a faux arrangement myself is because I had a specific idea in my head of the style and size that I wanted, I couldn’t really find exactly what I wanted already made and I already had the 2 magnolia branches that I wasn’t using. And, as much as I would like to be like Lisa Vanderpump and fill my home with giant fresh flower arrangements every week, it’s just not going to happen. So, what the heck, I thought I’d give it a try and see what I came up with.
